Client:
Warner Bros. Discovery
Client's Goal
Warner aimed to create an engaging and original storytelling experience with the "NBA All Stars 2024: Mini Documentary." The primary objective was to recreate the events of 1964 when players attempted to sabotage the first nationally televised NBA game to pressure the league for better rights, including healthcare, insurance, and fair salaries.
The documentary sought to bring this historical moment to life, utilizing a mix of existing footage and AI-generated content to craft a compelling narrative that both educates and captivates viewers.
What we solved?
Warner faced several challenges when creating the "NBA All Stars 2024: Mini Documentary." They approached us with a very tight timeline and a collection of existing footage. Our team worked efficiently to craft a unique visual identity for the documentary, incorporating retro effects, newspaper-style backgrounds, smooth transitions, and other creative elements to enhance the storytelling.
Additionally, we utilized generative AI to recreate some of the players, allowing us to authentically portray the historical event and effectively convey the story. These solutions not only met the project’s creative needs but also adhered to the stringent schedule.
