Client:
Warner Bros. Discovery
Client's Goal
The goal was to craft an engaging narrative that vividly depicted the legacy of coach John Thompson. By utilizing visual elements from the mid-80s and early 90s, the project aimed to showcase Thompson's significant impact on the history of basketball and his rigorous standards for player commitment. The objective was to create a compelling 9-minute documentary to be aired on national TV before the 2024 NCAA Division finals.
What we solved?
Final Four faced a significant challenge with a tight timeline, having only a few days to produce the documentary from the moment we received the footage until the scheduled airing. This time constraint made it difficult to ensure high-quality post-production and accurate storytelling. Our team tackled this challenge by working around the clock, efficiently managing video editing and special effects to deliver a polished and engaging documentary.
We brought our expertise to seamlessly blend archival footage from the mid-80s and early 90s, ensuring a cohesive narrative that honored coach John Thompson's legacy and resonated with the audience. Our dedication and swift execution enabled us to meet the tight deadline and deliver the project on time for national TV airing before the 2024 NCAA Division finals.
